Refund & Cancellation Policy

At TickMuseum, we understand that plans can change. This Refund & Cancellation Policy outlines the conditions under which you may cancel your museum ticket booking and request a refund. We strive to make this process as straightforward and fair as possible for all our customers.
1. Cancellation Timeframes
Our refund policy is based on how far in advance you cancel relative to your scheduled museum visit date:
- 48+ hours before scheduled visit: Full refund (100% of ticket price) will be issued to your original payment method.
- 24–48 hours before scheduled visit: Partial refund of 50% of the ticket price. A 50% cancellation fee applies to cover administrative and museum partnership costs.
- Less than 24 hours before scheduled visit: No refund available. Tickets are non-refundable within 24 hours of the scheduled visit time to ensure fairness to the museum and other visitors.
- No-show: If you do not attend the museum on your booked date without prior cancellation, no refund will be issued.
2. How to Request a Cancellation
To cancel your booking and request a refund, please contact our customer support team using one of the following methods:
- Email: Send your cancellation request to support@tickmuseum.lat, including your booking confirmation number, registered name, and the reason for cancellation.
- Phone: Call us at +971 4 580 2400. Our support team is available 24/7 to process your request.
- Contact Form: Use the contact form on our Contact page and select "Refund Request" as the subject.
Please ensure you have your booking confirmation number ready when contacting us. This helps us process your request more quickly and efficiently.
3. Refund Processing
Once your cancellation request is approved:
- Refunds are processed within 5–10 business days to your original payment method.
- The actual time for the refund to appear on your statement depends on your bank or card issuer and may take an additional 3–5 business days.
- Refunds will be issued in the same currency as the original booking (AED).
- You will receive an email confirmation once your refund has been processed.
4. Date Changes & Rescheduling
We understand that flexibility is important. If you'd like to change the date of your museum visit rather than cancel entirely:
- Free rescheduling is available if requested at least 48 hours before your original visit date, subject to ticket availability at the museum.
- Rescheduling requests within 24–48 hours may incur a AED 15 rescheduling fee.
- If the new date has a different ticket price, you will be charged or refunded the difference accordingly.
5. Museum-Initiated Cancellations
In the event that a museum cancels or closes unexpectedly (due to public holidays, weather events, maintenance, or other circumstances beyond our control), TickMuseum will:
- Notify you immediately via email and/or SMS.
- Offer you the choice between a full refund or rescheduling to an alternative date at no additional cost.
- If the museum closure was scheduled in advance, we will make every effort to notify you at least 72 hours before your visit.
6. Force Majeure
TickMuseum shall not be liable for any failure to perform our obligations due to causes beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to: natural disasters, pandemics, government orders, wars, strikes, or severe weather conditions. In such cases, we will work with affected customers to find the best possible resolution, including full refunds or credit vouchers.
7. Non-Refundable Items
The following are non-refundable under any circumstances:
- Promotional or discounted tickets clearly marked as "Non-Refundable" at the time of purchase.
- Gift vouchers and store credits.
- Processing fees or service charges associated with the original booking.
8. Disputes
If you disagree with a refund decision, you may escalate your case by emailing legal@tickmuseum.lat with your booking details and a description of the issue. Our management team will review your case within 7 business days and provide a final resolution.
